Sydney Hotel with an Outdoor Pool
We are traveling to Sydney next February with our adult children and 5 grandchildren ages 9-12. We are looking for a hotel with an outdoor pool . It seems like the Rocks/ Circular Quay , Darling harbor or CBD would be the most convenient for sightseeing. Are there other areas you would suggest? We will be there for 5 nights. Are there hotels that have outdoor pools with a shady place to sit ?

Hello dR, this and other similar requests should be posted in the Australia & Pacific Forum, but since you have asked and in advance of its removal thereto and for the benefit of others -
Sorry can't assist with what you are after, but fwiw here's a decent outdoor pool -

which, although likely to be too expensive for repeat visits for your mob, will provide a memorable dip (world records and PBs not obligatory) in a unique setting, perhaps when staying somewhere like this, imo, under-appreciated gem -

Holiday Inn, Old Sydney has a rooftop pool, as does Park Hyatt Sydney.
They are both in the Rocks area - you'd need to check with them about the shade aspect though.
Both are in great spots for sight seeing and getting around the harbour.
Hope this helps, Di

We stayed at the Adina CBD and it has a pool described as indoor/outdoor. It seemed outdoors to me with lots of shade.
With that big group, this would actually be a very good place to stay, since our very large apartment also had a washer/dryer included, so it was really great!

Thank you for the information. We decided an apartment would be the best choice for our family group and have made reservations at the Downhill Adina. I hope you liked the location. Thanks again for everyone's comments!
