Swan Valley suggestions

Thinking about escaping to Swan Valley towards the end of the week. We've only been through there once and didn't really get a feel for the area, so not sure what's what. Any suggestions on wineries and a good place for a nice relaxed lunch?

Hello there Mel,

We haven't been yet but Lamonts seems very popular. We have been to the one at Margaret River though and thought the food was great.

Thanks Maudie. I've been checking out the Swan Valley website and I ran across Lamont's. With 150 places to eat and drink, I doubt we'll have trouble filling our day!

Mel, just a thought after seeing the weather for the weekend, pick a cooler day as it can get awfully hot up there, no Freo Doctor!

Maybe Sunday might just be your day, seems as if its going to be a little cooler. And don't forget you get Monday off to recover - yay for long weekends!
