Restaurant Suggestions in Port Douglas

I'll be visiting Port Douglas in September. I'm looking for some good restaurant recommendations for that area. Thanks much for your help!

I don't think we had a bad meal there. We ate at Jade Inn (Chinese), Chief's (Mexican), and On the Inlet (seafood). I forgot the name of a couple other restaurants.

the restaurant that was recommended to me was the nautilus restaruant. It is suppose to be very nice. We are staying at the Peninsula hotel which is also suppose to be very nice as well. Have a great trip.

I have included the following restaurants in my Port Douglas Honeymoon trip June '03:

On the Inlet
Nautilis
Salsa

I have heard great things about these three from this board.

You might also want to check www.pddt.com.au for a longer list with descriptions and links.

Hi
We had a most memorable dinner at Nautilus in May 2000. The coral trout was excellent and the service was fabulous. The restaurant is world famous even though the original owner has departed. Enjoy yourselves.
