Qantas is great about turning off the fasten seat belt sign so you can stand up and stretch your legs.

United hit unexpected turbulence a few years ago and now keeps that sign on most of the time.

Wally, I thought United kept the sign on after some passengers were sucked out when a door came off - it might have only been one passenger from Sydney but one is too many.

Lizzy,

those passengers PREFERRED to be sucked out of the UA flight - they couldn't take it anymore!

Pinret - either Qantas or Air NZ is better than United on their best day.
