Q. for Adelaide/ S. Australia residents/ experts

Hi -

I am currently holidaying in South Australia and looking for a 'flying experience' in the Fleurieu peninsula/ Kangaroo Island area - ideally in a 4-seater (Cesna/ PA28 - or similar).

If you are an Adelaide/SA expert and can point me to local Flying Clubs in the area, I'd be eternally grateful

Steve

Hi Steve, I am not a flying expert but often see these biplanes flying over my house in the Mclaren Vale Wine region and they look like fun - not sure if they would be of interest?

Hi Ozgirl - Many thanks for your reply and for the link
- from their website they look a good possibility.

Would you happen to know if there is anything similar based on Kangaroo Island? I hear that is a scenic area for a flight ...

I don't know of anything based on KI. These guys I think do fly over KI.

Aldinga, where they fly from is only about one hour from Cape Jervis which is the ferry departure point to Kangaroo Island. If you are going there by car you would virtually pass the airstrip at Aldinga.

There was about ten years ago a pliot who flew joyflights from his farm on Kargaroo Island. He was on the tourist brochures.

Thankyou both for your replies. Aldinga Flying School fits the bill for what I want - so I've booked our trip with them as I don't want to risk not finding something similar in KI.

Thanks again Ozgirl
