Hi all,
Another school year is about to begin and I was trying to come up with something new for my bulletin board. I teach special ed.--lang. arts, reading and social studies--so I was thinking it would be very meaningful if I could hang postcards from the regions of the world that we learn about.

I have a dozen or so postcards but that's not enough. My 6th graders will learn about the following places:
Europe, including Russia
N. America
S. America
Oceania

I don't want bags of postcards coming to my school but would like a really a cool classroom.

Thanks in advance!
OWJ

I don't feel comfortable just posting my address on the web, so email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to give you the snailmail address.

Thanks again!

(I'm posting this on a couple of different bulletin boards in hopes that I'll get one or two postcards from each country (and all Australian states)

Thanks, Bokhara.

If your fellow Aussies see this, I would love postcards from QLD, Tas, Vic, WA, NT, SA...and if anyone is going to some islands in the S. Pacific and wouldn't mind mailing me a postcard, I'd be very appreciative!!

You can find me at [email protected]

(Anyone going to Latin America by chance??)

Any responses from Melbourne/Victoria yet? Postcards poised if required, from the Dandenong Ranges.

Paul--Thanks for getting me a card from Vic!! I keep telling people that I wish I could go back and get them myself. I LOVE Australia!!

If you happen to know anyone in other parts of Australia, feel free to give them my address.

OWJ

Liz or Pat--Would either of you mind sending a postcard from QLD?

OWJ, you omitted the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Not that I'm sensitive or anything...

I do need one from Tasmania, Ozgirl!! Thanks.

Neil--My omission of the ACT was not a slight, just an oversight. Alan sent me several cards, one being from the ACT.(Thanks Alan!) I also have a good friend who lives there but she has not quite gotten around to sending off a postcard. She may be on my ---- list soon. LOL

Masha--I have postcards from England and France but could use one from Wales (and if by chance you have one from either N. Ireland or Scotland, that would be great!)

Email me and I'll provide my school's address.

Thanks so much!
