PM Helen Clark- Dyke, Yes or No

I always thought highly of New Zealand until I read that Prime Minister Helen Clark was a lesbian. Is it true and how messed up must the New Zealand people be?

Barry
Firstly I consider your "question" totally inappropriate for a travel chatroom. Much more suitable for the gutter press!

To answer your question, and I am not a Labour supporter, there is no truth in your comment. Helen Clarke is happily married to Peter Davies (a male) As leader of a country she has to dress conservatively and project an image of leadership which I believe that she does very well.
With elections coming up I don't think that any further correspondence on the matter would be constructive.
I'm afraid that you are the one messed up.
Kerry

So she has a man living in her house - does that mean that she is hetero?
She is about as close to a dyke as you can get and perhaps it should be suggested to her though that if she is representing a country she should get some protocol sorted out - I refer of course to her social *splat* when the Queen was in NZ when she started sitting down in the middle of the British National Anthem, my God! even footballers don't ignore that when its played before a footy game, not to mention that women in pants are not in acceptable attire on State occasions, but then NZ has a great history of social ignorance, just remember the cardigan incidence of Lange's wife .

Wow, if that's true, I'm going to emigrate there! How open-minded the New Zealanders must be. Now, Barry, please tell me what country you live in so I can avoid it.

Barry,
I agree with Kerry that your question is inappropriate in this forum, also it is extremely offensive.

Helen Clarke is not a lesbian but we do have a transexual MP. who is a member of the Labour Party ( maybe this is where your confusion lies )

Georgina Beyer is the first transexual MP in the world ... another New Zealand 1st.

Helen Clarke did not sit down during the British national Anthem at all. It was afteeeeer the Anthem that she went to sit before realising that she should wait for the Queen to be seated first.

It was barely discernable at that.

As far as her attire ( ahh, so that might be where the lesbian rumour came from ~ no woman should be seen in public wearing pants huh? )

She looked fantastic in a designer evening pantsuit.

So What ?
Go find some school friends to play with now.
goodbye
