Phone # for calling Rex Express
I've been trying to reach Rex Express for a couple days to change a reservation, but the phone number they have listed on their website for international residents seems to be down.
Does anyone have a secondary # that I might try?
Thanks.

Hi Dave,
The 13 17 13 number if a free call so I guess it was pretty useless giving you it as it would only work over here.
My only other suggestion would be emailing them : [email protected]
It seems ridiculous you are having such trouble contacting them - I would certainly point that out WHEN you finally get to them!
FYI business in Australia tends to get back to some normality today after the Xmas break - but that is no excuse for an airline!

Hi Dave,
I just had another thought - you are taking the time difference into account are you? I have no idea what it is exactly but usually between 10-12 hours - as I notice the international number is only in service at specific times.

Welcome to the brave new world of corporate downsizing. Sorry, can't answer the phone, we're all at a training course designed to make us better customer service officers. When the new customer care software is bedded down, that is.
Sometimes when confronted with a lengthy wait in a customer service queue a good tactic is to look up the Sales number, which usually will be answered much more smartly. Then apologise for your stupid mistake and ask nicely to be transferred to Customer Service - the sales agent will have access to an internal connection which with any luck will have priority over regular incoming calls. Having said that ... unfortunately in Rex's case Sales and Customer Care share the same number.
Dave, have you made allowance for the time difference? Reason I ask is that I just checked the website and noticed the following:
International Residents +61 2 6393 5550
Mon - Fri, 6am - 10pm
Sat, 7am - 9pm
Sun, 7am - 10pm
Those times would be Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time.
You could try calling 61-131713 (prefaced by your international access code), just on the off chance, but my guess is that domestic numbers not prefixed by a regular Australian area code (a digit between 2 and 9 for overseas callers) won't connect.
Good luck.

Yes... I was taking into account the time difference (14 hours from here).
I would up actually getting through to Rex's travel agent help desk, and they were able to help with my needs. Still unsure why their main reservation # is down, but at least I got through to someone.
