My LIFT has shipped

along with my TIM Tams!!!!<BR><BR>should be here thursday or friday!!!<BR><BR>I am sooooo excited!<BR><BR>can't wait to taste those wonderful treats and wash them down with lemon squash!!!!<BR><BR>I did a good thing today...cheered up a co-worker with a mini stuffed KOALA!<BR><BR>SO does anyone know of anyone who has RETIRED in Australia (that is not Australian)???<BR><BR>I am thinking my husband and I need to go live there for about 3-4 years renting a place for a few months here and there!<BR><BR>Figure we can stretch our retirement $$ -of course in 30 years the AUD might have taken over the US$<BR><BR>

Alright, Shannon--Rub it in. Care to share some Tim Tams?? (How was your w/e in Atlanta?? Did you guys have fun?)<BR><BR>I want to work in Australia--anyone have any ideas how to get about a teaching job (special ed)? It's turning out to be tougher than I thought.

can't wait to go home today....perhaps I should log my tracking id and see if it is still on schedule!<BR><BR>mmmmm<BR><BR>Atlanta trip was good! got insulted by some snobby Lancome counter make up lady at a dept store at Perimeter.<BR><BR>I was buying a replacement lip liner and they had the special so I need to spend another 2 bucks...so asked about eyeliner pencils...hadn't had a chance to wax my eyebrows since I was married and she had the nerve to say &quot;it would look nicer if you would tidy up those stray hairs&quot;....BITE ME...my response was I had been out of the country for 3 weeks.<BR><BR>at least people weren't rude like that in Aussie!<BR><BR>Apparently there is a job shortage for NURSES, medical staff in general and PROGRAMMERS but not IT jobs like mine.<BR><BR>They were doing a news story on it while we were there.<BR><BR>I think my husband would qualify since he does SAP but I wouldn't be able to work...and unless they pay us in US$$ we wouldn't fare very well in Sydney cost of living wise!<BR><BR>

got the tim tams and lift yesterday<BR><BR>put one in the fridge but didn't drink it<BR><BR>gotta figure out my rationing strategy<BR><BR>WHAT is the price for the Tim Tams in Atlanta I wonder???<BR><BR>I didn't open them either....waiting til closer to Xmas I think.<BR><BR>I went thru Simply Oz. Their prices seemed cheaper on a lot of products compared to other Aussie places available in the US.<BR><BR>
