Can anyone suggest reliable tour guides (company) on KI that take you to the must see sites and allow enough time at each?? We will have 2 full days and 2 nts and haven't decided if we'd rather leave the driving to the natives or do ourselves (we will be self-driving in NT, WA, and Adelaide). Might need a rest at this our last stop.

Hi---we used a company called Exceptional KI (used to be Adventure Charters) and were very pleased. They were wonderful and we saw all sorts of things that we might have not even noticed had they not pointed them out...even an echidnea! Turned out to be one of the highlights of our trips Down Under. Have a great time!

thanks for the info on Exceptional KI. I did see some of their options on-line. How did you get to/from KI? Air or ferry. Do you have any info on Rex airlines. How small are the planes they use? Can you detect some fear in that question. Also, if you spent overnight(s) in KI, where did you stay? Was wondering if we had 2 nts if it would be better to spend one night in Flinders and the 2nd night elsewhere.

Rex Airlines will probably use either Saa
34 seats) or Metro(19 seats). Not a problem at all. If you are flying in probably stay 2 days in Kingsclote and do day trips.
If arriving by ferry stay around Penneshaw,as the ferry docks there. We always drive ourselves around. The driving is easy and you can get good maps.
