HoneyMoon West Coast , Bora Bora and Tahaa

Hello everyone, I'm getting married this July and after searching and researching I just finished planning our honeymoon: first we'll be going to san francisco and las vegas and then to Bora Bora and Tahaa. we'll be staying at the bora bora lagoon resort (beach bungalow) and the LeTahaa (overwater bungalow), does anyone have any comments about either one??
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just in Bora Bora and Tahaa 6 months ago for my honeymoon. A great board to check out is www.theknot.com and go under "Honeymoon" for chat. A lot of those girls have been there as well. We also stayed in a OWB at Le Tahaa and LOVED it! So much privacy on your private deck and so beautiful. Don't forget to bring CD's because they have a CD player and it's great to bask in the sun on your private deck listening to your fave tunes!

Although I love this forum for most places, you're much more likely to get useful and current info on Bora Bora and Tahaa from the forum at tahiti-explorer.com. It's the most active board for French Polynesia but it is run by a travel agency.

Although I haven't been to Tahaa, other honeymooning couples we met back in 2000 were touting their stay there. The Bora Bora Lagoon Resort is fabulous and offers excellent views of Mt. Otemanu, which you don't often get at HBB and the Nui.

As for advice: don't blow too much money at SF and Vegas cause you're going to need plenty at French Polynesia!
