Dunedin Wildlife in a Hurry!

Hi All,

I'm hoping you can help me. (You always come through).
I literally have an afternoon in Dunedin to experience their rich wildlife. I don't really want to leave New Zealand without seeing the Penguins and other awesome wildlife from that region. We are driving up from Te Anua in the morning and we're leaving for Christchurch the following day for a 3:15pm flight back to Auckland.
So my time is really limited.
I found a tour through Elm Wildlife that departs Dunedin at 1pm that I think I can make.
Is that a good choice, or am I missing something?
Thanks for the help!

TB

Yes! We loved the Elm Wildlife Tour. We saw lots and lots of animals-- many penguins, fur seals, sea lions, etc.

Do you think I can make it from Te Anau in time for the 1pm departure time?

Yes, you can if you leave really early and take the inland route. We drove to Dunedin from Manapouri in 4 hours.

Excellent. That's good news.

I just heard back from them and I'm all booked. Can't wait.
Man I wish I had more time
