Diving in Fiji in February?

We are planning a trip to Fiji for Feb 07 (it will be the tail endo of our trip to New Zealand) and we really want to dive. We will be certified. I know the best diving is aroung Taveuni but it is rainy season and rains alot from what I understand. What would be good alternative to the North where it will not be as likely to rain?

We saw people on dive trips at our resorts (Matamanoa and Tokoriki) and on our Blue Lagoon Cruise. Of the three, I recommend the cruise VERY HIGHLY, Matamanoa, and do not recommend Tokoriki.
We were there in January and only had 2 nights and 1 afternoon of rain in 8 days.

I'm assuming you did the 3 night cruise since you had a total of 8 nights. Did you think it was enough time or would you recommend the 7 night?

I would definitely do the 6 night. We would have, except that boat was being refurbished while we were there. The cruise was excellent, and the staff were fabulous. The snorkeling was amazing and I would assume the diving was as well.
