Daylight Hours in Winter in NZ
Hi all, Planning a trip to NZ in their winter months. Never there before and have a question...being that it is winter there, are there limited daylight hours? I read someplace that there are only a few daylight hours during NZ winter months. May have to rethink vacation plans if so. Please advise. Thanks all!

What time does it get dark where you live during the winter?
Visit www.weather.com or www.weatherunderground.com and after picking a city in NZ, go to averages. You will find the sunrise, sunset and temperature averages. There could be extreme warmth or coldness when you are there, but the sunrise and sunset will be the same.
That is just one of the reasons why the airfares are half the price.

Thanks, Wally, for the assistance. We were just worried that it was going to be like going to Alaska in the winter with only minimal hours of light. After looking at the website you suggested, it appears to be similar to where we are in the winter. Thanks for your help!
