Stephanie: I looked at Coral Princess and Captain Cook. They are 3 times as much as Reef Endeavor. I just can't afford them. They are more like a regular cruise which I will be taking for 14 days in Europe in July so I don't want to spend half of my Oz vacation on a ship. We want maximum time in the water snorkelling and your cruise stops at islands for walking. Also the schedules of the other 2 don't jive with our arrival in Cairns. We get in on Tues Nov. 14 at 11:00am, will spend 2 nights in a hotel, 2 nights on Reef Endeavor, then 2 more nights in a hotel (haven't picked one yet or figured out what we'll do during the land days). I don't want to go right onto a ship and snorkel with jet lag. Stephanie: e-mail me direct and we can compare notes on our identical trips

Oops, Pat is right. We are looking at Reef Encounter.I'm getting all confused planning 2 vacations at the same time. Reef Encounter is 2/3 the price of Coral Princess and Captain Cook for what looks like close to the same thing.
