I'm a train man. I ahve only done busses and trains from sydney to brisbane, never from some place in between but for me the trains are the first choice for sure. oh, and they used have soem very good discounting policies which were never advertised. I would just ask them to give me a discounted ticket and see what they'd say.

the price is about $65 one way but again, ask for a discount and you might be able to get 40% off (when are you travelling? if before april you'll get a discount for sure).
