China- Xian, is it worth visiting?

I would like to hear from people who have visited Xian (including Bill Clinton). What did you think about it?
I found the city of Xian to be only mildly interesting, although it has some historical significance, and there are a few sites that you should see.

Of significantly more importance, and a not-to-miss experience, is the site of the Terra Cotta Warriors, about an hour out of Xian. Tours are easily arranged from Xian, and it is probably not prohibitive to hire a car and driver to go there.

Of course, it is! The terra cotta warriors alone will make your trip worthwhile, if you are into history.

Also, the tombs from the Tong Dynasty are worth
visiting.

Make a trip to Beijing and Hong Kong too, like Bill Clinton did.

The foods offered by hawkers along the roads are delicious and in surprisingly cheap price. But be careful to those dishonest hawkers, they will cheat you for money!!

Xian is not to be missed. The warriors are truely the Eighth Wonder of the World.
