car rental agencies

We are traveling to NZ end of Feb thru mid Mar. we are planning on renting a car for 3-4 days of touring on the N island then dropping the car for the ferry to the S island where we would pick up a new car. We would stay on the S island for 10days and fly out of Christchurch to Auck and pick up another car to tour N of AUck our last few days. Given all of this can anyone suggest a good car rental agency? I've looked at Apex's website and am impressed but would like to compare experiences.
Thanks ahead

NZ has all the major agencies - Hertz, Avis, Budget etc. If you are renting for so long you might be better placed to get a cheap rate if you book through one co instead of using several. That will also save you the one way drop of fee they might otherwise sting you for.

Dear Denise
My name is Mark Abraham and I work for a company called Pacific Internet Travel.
We deal with a lot of different rental companies in New Zealand and after reading your message I belive we can help you.
I believe that the best rental company for you would be National Car Rental which priovides new modern cars for fantastic prices. They provide a free aiport pick up as well as branches in both islands so you can drop one off at Wellington and pick up another in Picton. When you drop your car off they will also take you to the airport free of charge.
We can book the rental car for you as well as the ferry crossing. We are also provide fantastic prices for accommodation and free itineraries which provide you with a rough outline of what we belive to be the best options for your trip in New Zealand.
We also deal with a company called Omega that provide quality used vehicles at a disounted price, you will also find these vehicles under the rental icon on our site.
I hope that I have been of some help and please feel free to email me with any questions that you may have regarding your trip.
Kind Regards
Mark

ACROSSNZ.com - http://www.acrossnz.com
Email : [email protected]
Ph: +64 3 488 628 Fax: +64 3 3488 162
P.O.Box 567 Christchurch New Zealand

"Acrossnz - creating fantastic itineraries for independent travellers to New Zealand"
