Calling All Cars, Calling All Cars, Margo Oz, Where sre yoiu?

Dear Margo,

We are all worried as you have not reported in from Uluru/ Ayers Rock.

Are you missing?

Thought you were down there for your Aunt's 80th in August. But August has come and gone.

I hope you are OK

Dear Peteralan,

I thought butting in was a pastime down under. Didn't you all win a gold at the recent olympics for butting in?

Thanks for setting me onto Margo's path. I'm realived to know shes not missing.

G'day AD
I'm still alive, sorta..... Some medical problems, and aunt house moving etc., have kept me offline a bit. Thanks for asking.

I was very disappointed - we didn't see a single dingo in Ayers Rock at all, so no need for the very large matinee jacket I knitted to tempt one to take the aunt. Not even a bloody 'roo! Only the rumour of a goanna. Not even many flies.

You just can't trust critters these days.

Dear Margo.

Speedy recovery.

You'd be in better health if you didn't try to move your aunt's house by yourself. Did you have to get special permits to relocate the power lines as you dragged it down the street?

Did the Australians win the Olympic medal for house moving this year?

My birthday comes around in March and I'd love the matinee jacket.

Really, I hope you are feeling better.

Oh, my goodness, I have such a wonderful mental picture of Margo, power lines over her shoulder, dragging her aunt's house down the street, while AndrewDavid, wearing an overlarge matinee jacket, stands there cheering and offering extremely supportive comments.
Thanks guys, I have enjoyed the comments. I now need to find Margo's Uluru post to see what she says about Uluru, etc.

Great imagery!

The reality was much more mundane, but.....I'll go with your description.

Has anyone noticed how many questions there are on the boards these days about those other little places - New Zealand, Pacific Islands, etc....I mean, really. What DO they think we're here for?!

Feel free to email me ([email protected]) if you have any questions. I didn't see Andrew's singing dingo, so the trip was a failure, really!
