Suggest you take a look at Circle Pacific and Around the World tickets.

This link to Star Alliance Circle Pacific routes might help get you started:

And here's info on the Oneworld circle pacific http://www.oneworld.com/ow/air-trave...e-pacific-fare

Currently, US originating circle pacific base fares excluding taxes, fees, and surcharges are:

Oneworld 22,000 mile
economy $3100
business $5500
first $7900

Oneworld 26,000 mile
economy $3700
business $6600
first $9400

Star Alliance 22,000 mile
economy $4390
business $8460
first $12070

Star Alliance 26,000 mile
economy $5260
business $10140
first $14460

There was a big price hike in May with the Star Alliance circle pacific fares, so the Star Alliance 29,000 mile Round the World is actually cheaper than the 22,000 mile circle right now for US originating itineraries.

Star Alliance 29,000 mile RTW
economy $4069
business $7880
first $11440

Wow, that's a huge difference in price. So much for Star Alliance.

Yeah, the recent increase was huge. I was in the middle of planning my Star Alliance circle when it happened and could hardly believe what I was seeing! I had to scrap my flight plans and start all over. I suspect the current Oneworld fares may not be what they are now much longer either.

Well, all of the Oneworld circle fares went up as of today and they're now:

Oneworld 22,000 mile
economy $4500
business $9300
first $12700

Oneworld 26,000 mile
economy $5400
business $11200
first $15200

I ticketed mine on Sunday, whew!

I should add those are US originating fares. Some of the other countries went up too but maybe not by as much.
