Hi TampaTramp! Thanks for the info. I am actually a Midwest Girl, Minnesota to be exact. I'm someone who loves Broadway shows, hence the name THANK YOU for all your help, you are wonderful! Are you planning any trips Down Under soon? Thanks again!

as long as Fodor's prints tour books, I'm planning plenty of trips; and Australia is high on my list. Unfortunately my wallet isn't as stuffed with cash as their tour book is with information. I'm saving to buy a condo in San Francisco next year which will put me 3000 miles closer to Sydney. (which, by the way, in a lot of ways, is very similar to San Francisco).

when you get back, be sure to post your review of your whirlwind tour.

I just posted a trip report on the Bridgeclimb in Nov 2006. I'm not sure what you've read so far, but maybe there is some additional info in there for you. Have fun, Aussie is an awesome place to visit. I'm still coming down from my trip (gasp) 7 months ago!

B'waygirl,

wow, hope I'm not too late with this, and you're checking your email at the last minute....

As your mom's such a fan, let me suggest something special...

As I said, I've just returned, and when there, at the Zoo, they have wonderful memorial to Steve Irwin - lots of messages written on kahaki shirts, photos, (and some really bad "art&quot,,,

many people have left flags from their country - BUT NO US FLAG! If I'd known, I would have brought a small one. Hopefully, you'll get this, and your Mom could "represent" us, which I'm sure she'd love!

Regards,
