Australia school holidays

Can anyone tell me if there are any school holidays during the month of March 2004, that will indicate that a lot of families or college students will be on vacation?
Thanks

Hi Lynette
There are no school holidays or even public holidays in March. April is almost the exact oposite with Easter, ANZAC Day and all of the states having school holidays. March is the last of the wet months in Daintree.

It's true there are no school holidays in March but there are a couple of public holidays, this shouldn't make much difference to getting accommodation, etc. Just so you know, public hols are:
1st March Labour Day - WA only
8th March Labour Day - VIC only
8th March Eight Hours Day - TAS only
15th March Canberra Day - ACT only
Often people will go away for a long weekend during these times.

G'day Lynette,
all school and puplic holidays are listed here:
http://www.oztourism.com.au/ozhols.htm

During March you should have no worries,
except for the Labour Day long weekend.
