We were recalling how when we were very young and it got above the old 102F then we were allowed to go home from school and ironically we walked home!!

Melnq8, Wow! We have real empathy for you having to endure the extreme heat in Perth! Thinking of you, we won't complain about our "Artic" weather in the US Midwest. It is very understandable that you would enjoy the SI or Switzerland in winter. Our wish for you is that the spell of unbearable temps will break!

It already has broken somewhat tomarkot, only 100F expected today, lol.

It's -21C here in southern Ontario. Great opportunity for us Canadians to engage in our favourite activity: grumbling about the weather. But I wouldn't want to trade places with you. Stay cool.
