Convenient to what? Yokohama itself is great for Chinese food and such, and the subway and train go to Tokyo. If you paid more than 15,000 yen for a double room, you paid more than the rates the hotel offers by direct booking.

Kim Ireally should be getting on with some cleaning or gardening!!!
Thanks for replying though. Sometimes you wait ages for people to come back to you.
The nightly rate we have to pay is 18000.00 and that was through the hotel itself-bookes months ago. Room only. We will definitely check that out now as we can cancel. Chinese food and such sounds good !Thank you

The hotel looks nice and Yokohama is nice. If you are interested in Chinatown, which it seems you might be, then you'll be very happy. There is also a lot of shopping, and the harbor area is scenic. You could try for a rate that includes breakfast...perhaps e-mail to the hotel directly asking for a package, as often there are packages of room/breakfast on offer that are publicised on flyers in the hotel but don't show up unless you ask for the rate specifically in person, or know the rate code for internet reservations. As hotel breakfasts are quite expensive, and this hotel looks to have quite a good one, it would be worth it. Should you want to go into parts of Tokyo, you can use the subway or train. The hotel concierge or even your desk in your room will likely have maps for you.
