francebound, well, I didn't go to Yakushima on my first trip, either, but included it on my second trip. So know that you'll probably want to return and you can include Yakushima on that trip! It's amazing to me that more people aren't going there, though it does take effort to get there, but so worth it!

So many photos, too detailed. The natural scenery looks very good. I'm surprised that the deer and monkeys are so close to people. Besides, when I saw the photo of the green wooden chair, I stared at it for a long time before realizing that it was designed that way and not damaged. Haha.

Thankyou for this, I’m planning our family’s second visit to Japan and I want to focus on Kyushu (daughter wants us to Also visit South Korea so I’m thinking ferry between Busan and Fukuoka) and I’m mining the forum for Kyushu ideas!!! Yakushima def going on the list
