mrwunrfl: How did you get your reservations at Shigetsu? I have emailed them three times (at: [email protected]) and no answers. What email did you use or did you call?

hi emd! Yes, I got the res and confirmed it the next day and cancelled it the day after that when I got priceline hotel Crown Plaza Metropolitan next to Ikebukuro station.

For Shigetsu, I just copied the following bullets into an e-mail, filled it out and sent it to the e-mail address on this page:

* Your Address

OK, thanks very much, I'll try that. BTW, I just spent 10 days in Pasadena CA; didn't have much free time but really wanted to go to Santa Anita. But there's no running there til Dec 26, when they celebrate their 70th anniversary...

topping in light of the tsunami/earthquake (I don't know these areas well). Hopefully all Fodorites are safe.

Well I can assure you that Gloria is OK, as she and her friend were at our place on the 26th. We had a little shake in Chiang Mai, nothing more.
