The museum there (I think it's called the Palace Museum) is very worthwhile.

After the museum,you can go to the Yungmingshan where is nearby.Then go to Peitou enjoying the hot spring.At night,Shi-lin night marketis worth to see.If you like the chinese tea,Mao-kon is a mountain where collects all kinds of tea houses. <BR>

You can explore the night markets, there are huge ones such as Shihlin (get off at the stop before Shihlin on the underground railway MRT) and follow the throngs. Its good for browsing and checking out local cuisine.

Take the MRT,you can get to many places easily in Taipei.Also,You can get some local maps in the airport and the hotels.I am a Taiwaner ,trust me.It,s easy to have fun.
