Bali Honeymoon: Ritz/FS. Need Advice!

I am starting to second-guess my honeymoon plans. This will be our first time in Bali so I could really use some help:

Current Plans:
10 nights at the Ritz Carlton-Bali, Club Level room (preceded by a night at the RC Hong Kong Club which is preceded by a night at the RC NY Central Park South Club). I could not justify the price of getting a Villa at the Ritz or Four Seasons since we plan on spending a lot of time exploring the island. Why pay $500+ a night when you won’t be there 100% of the time to enjoy it? The Club would work well for quick bites on the run and would still be nice on pool/spa days at the hotel for half the price. We plan on hiring drivers for our day trips.

Alternate Plan:
Now I am thinking that it would be nice to have at least a few days in the Villa (probably the last 3) to just relax before leaving paradise. I am also starting to think that it would be a good idea to spend a few days inland at the FS Sayan resort. So…I am considering spending the first week at the RC as planned and the last 3 nights at the FS Sayan. I am aware that FS has packages that split b/t Sayan and Jimbaran, but at $250 a night I would prefer the RC Club.

Since I have never been to Bali, can anyone tell me if my reasoning is sound with either alternative?

Which alternative would all of you Bali experts recommend?

Also, how do the suites at FS Sayan compare to the Villas in terms on the benefit you get for the cost (about $200 more a night in the Villa)?

Thanks for any advice and/or feedback!
I have replied to the above poster via email in an effort to not lower myself to that level.

I have set them straight on my education and family financial position (as if they even deserved an explanation in the first place).

Firstly if you had $500, go to any Aman resort.

Secondly the FS Bali has been rated higher and nicer than the RC as the FS has its own villas.A double room in the RC costs just $150.

Amanusa is the closest to RC/FS area at Nusa Dua. Amankila is the nicest and most secluded. Amandari is at Ubud, also a better choice than FS Sayan for $500.

Other $500 hotels to consider at Ubud are Begawan Giri and Piha Mata.

I would suggest splitting your time bewteen Ubud and Nusa Dua.

Having lived in Hong Kong and Asia for 10 years I still think that the Inter-Con (former Regent Hotel) or the Peninsula are still the best hotels in Hong Kong. A room at the Inter-Con facing the Harbour is incredible and the Peninsula is just as great! Kowloon still has the charisma. For my feelings, the Four Seasons with their private villas cannot be beat! If you want to keep the costs down, then stay the last few nights at one of the Four Seasons in a villa.

BTW, how come you are working with an upscale travel agent who could help you decide these things?
