Dear Travelers--has anyone rented an apartment/condo in Tokyo? If so, were your experiences good ones? Pros and cons? My husband and I are taking our two kids--ages 20 and 16 to Tokyo at the end of August. We're looking for a 2-bedroom. I've found a vacation rental site with good possibilities in Tokyo. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

We rented a small 37 m2 apartment through Tokyo Weekly Mansions in Meijuro. It was not a 2 bedroom and very very basic. But it was cheap, about $110/night with 4 single beds. They have others but I think we got the biggest that the provide.

We're renting an apartment in Tokyo and a townhouse in Kyoto this November. Thus far my experiences with both owners has been very good. Both rentals are thru vrbo.com.
