Travel Expo

For anyone who might be in Bangkok now, there is a travel expo taking place at Queen Sirikit Center, today, through Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how he industry is actually responding to the tourism situation.

Curt, if you go, please give us your impressions. I'd be curious. I'm not in BKK right now, but would probably try to attend if I were in the city.

i went to this expo a few months ago, and it was very extensive, my problem was that i found very few exhibitors spoke english, so i wasn't able to get much info from them.

i saw alot of interesting properties to visit, however, because i don't speak thai, i could not get much info from them.

they are other vendors at the expo that sell various other items, like clothing, bags, etc. at least i had a nice lunch there.

Yes, the event is definitely aimed at the Thai market. And, at any such event, there are always peripheral vendors selling just about anything!
