travel agent for Laos and Cambodia

Can anyone recommend a travel agent (consultant) who specializes in Southeast Asia, particularly Laos and Cambodia?
I'm planning a trip that has a few tricky logistics.
Thanks

There are some experienced SEA travelers here who might address your “tricky logistics” if they knew what they were. First step would be saying what the issues are.

I agree with MmePerdu -- it's very possible that some of the people who post on this board might be able to help you!

That said, for Cambodia, you might contact Tom Vichet at TaxiCambodiaTom.com. He's based in Phnom Penh but has contacts throughout much of the country and was very helpful with some logistical issues when I planned my time in Cambodia. https://taxicambodiatom.com/

I have travelled all over Laos and Cambodia to some really out of the way places and have never found the logistics "tricky" and never felt the need to engage a tour operator or agent. These days it is very easy to arrange everything independently and if you do feel the need for a guide or tour anywhere , these are easily arranged locally at very short notice and at relatively low cost.

There are many agents operating in Vietnam and Cambodia, some good, most are not.

From a financial security perspective you would be better booking with an organisation in your own country which would afford the consumer protections of that country. Difficult to be more specific as you don't mention where you are from.

it might be an idea to post details of what it is you want to see in those countries and in which country you live.

In the meantime, decent operators in Vietnam who are good included Ethnic Travel whom I have used personally and Tonkin Travel who I have not used but friends have and recommend. If you happen to be UK base, I could recommend some UK operators.
