I, too, have had a hard time pulling up the trip report on Tong (from Gloria and Bob). Could you please reference it again? This will be our 4th trip to BKK and we've never used a guide....now we're intrigued.

Jodo, the report was from Bob and Andy. It's in both of their trip reports, but another poster, Cosmo, asked about it and Kim copied it and pasted. Search for Cosmo and you'll find the thread, called something like, "For Cosmo..."

There have been zillions (ok, maybe only dozens) of reports about Tong in teh last year or year and a half. Laurieco, Offwego had excelent reports as well.

Bob, thank you for sharing---though, you're right...one bus-load and it's all over. We're going in late February. Hopefully camera crews won't have arrived by then.

Joyce, are you and Don going in late February '07 or February '08? Jeane and I will be there in late February/early March '07 . For most of the trip we will be traveling in Myanmar. It would be nice to get together if our paths will be crossing in Bangkok.

Joyce-there's a good chance that we will have another Boston GTG in the fall, once Bob's restraining order is lifted. He'll be fitted with an attractive ankle bracelet jointly made by the Massachusetts Dept. of Corrections and Thai Stone.
