Have a wonderful time -- know you will. Looking forward to your reports, especially LP. If you have a chance, and check out some of the other hotel options that Craig and others have been posting about, we'd love to hear. Kathie & Hobbes had mentioned Auberge Calao, which is in town I think. If you happen upon it, let us know what you think. Enjoy, enjoy!

Bob, The reason I was asking about airport transfers is that my family of 6 will be there in a couple of months. The Pansea charges by the person ($6) as opposed to by the car. $36 seemed a bit steep. Did you notice if cabs were readily available at the airport? Also, would love to know how you like the Pansea. The other place which we thought about was the Maison Souvannaphon (sp???), which is a relatively new place. I think it may be the only place which is actually in town with a pool. Hope you have a great time.

Bob, I hope you're having a great time in LP. I'll be going in July or August. If you happen to pass by any of these hotels and feel in the mood to peek in, could you please give us your valuable feedback?
I'm very interested in knowing about:
Villa Santi (is the original past its prime?)
3 Nagas
Le Calao
Satri House
Maison Souvannaphoum (Colors of Angsana)
These last two are right next to each other I think, but not in the old historic district.
Looking forward to your LP report!
