Tickets to Trivandrum India

Hi.. It's too late for me now, since I already bought the tickets from priceline (Etihad airlines) at $1764.02.

But, here's my question: A. how much did I overpay, and B. are there better sites than priceline? What are they?

Don't know your dates, where you're flying from or travel class but for fun I did a dummy booking for September directly with Etihad. Return from New York to Thiruvananthapuram, India cost $1,059 net for economy.

Thanks @Hanuman, I was leaving August 3rd, and returning August 12th from JFK to TRV.. (Silly not to say where I was leaving from!) and just coach...

I guess also, I'm staying at Vivanta by Taj. What are good hotels to stay at there?

I find I get the best prices from each airline's own website.

Define good. What budget?

I stayed here http://www.keyshotels.com/LocationTrivandrum.aspx and enjoyed it, but it isn't luxury. Clean and comfortable, though, with good service.
