I took my boyfriend to India last winter and...he didn't get along too well with the culture. This is a funny video about our trip:

i feel sorry for your BF's experience in India. his frustration is understandable. i have been in a similar situation before in a different country and as your BF describes it - feels like a good kick in the A--. i'm curious did things improve once he got to calcutta? what were you guys doing in india, were you on an adventure, educational, etc trip?

Tenav; I wouldn't let that one glimpse or snapshot deter you. Be certain that is not all. I live in Chicago and its a great city but if all you saw were some of the crappy spots which every place has then you would get an unbalanced perspective. JM2C. Larry
