aloha ileness:

your kids will love bangkok! i travel there a lot and brought my wife adn 7yo daughter there a year ago. we stayed at the marriott resort and spa on the river as an oasis from the din of the city. it has a great pool and she loved it. make sure whereever you stay has a pool (assuming your kids like the water). also they have an elephant place near bkk. we did the farm in pattaya and it was amazing with the large and baby elephants. she tolerated the visits to temples. we got her an inexpensive digital camera so she could take pics as she liked. shopping was a drudgery for her! if you stay there they have a nice boat ride to and from the skytrain area so its a delight to do that each way. make sure the kids have lots to do on the plane to and from. hopefully the airline has the screen in the seatback in front of you with kids channels. that was heaven to keep her occupied. you didnt say where you were traveling from. hope this helps a little. dont forget the sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses UV filtered!!!

have a great trip

Hi, ileness. My name is Candice and I work for Gate 1 Travel. Are you looking to book a guided tour or do you prefer to travel independently? Several of our guided tours visit the Mae Sa Elephant Camp – definitely check that out if you are interested in a unique elephant experience!
