Thailand - Most Beautiful Beaches??

Hi! We're going to have about a week and half or so of beach time while in Thailand, after visitng Angkor and the North. We'll be going in March of next year. What beaches do you all consider to be the most idyllic?? We're looking for nice scenery, swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. Preferalby not totally overrun with tourists.

We loved the beach on Koh Chang, and if you dont want to be surrounded by other people then it would be great! There were several times when we would be walking and not see another person in either direction. The snorkeling was not that great right off of koh chang, but a 30 minute boat ride got you to some nice places!

Phi Phi island, some of the smaller islands around the Phuket and Phi Phi / Krabi areas, some of the beaches on Phuket itslef, depends if you are looking for a beautiful remote beach or a nice beach with development, most of the great beaches have development but there are of couse lots of quiet and remote beaches but they sometimes are not easy to reach. if you are looking for resorts on an idland with beaches they perhaps Phi Phi would suit you, or, some of the very small islands with perhaps just one or 2 accommodation places.

Any real idylic beach that is so beautiful would often for that reason be busy with 'tourists'.

Take a look at Phi Phi island, it probably has some of the closest to what you are after, or maybe the Maiton isdland resort just off the coast of Phuket, nice resort but the only resort so quite idylic. The Paradise at Khao Yao actually is another one, now this is not top luxury but is away from the crowds, take a look, it might be what you are after, short drive from Phuket Airport and then short boat hop

JamesA, thank you so much for your suggestions! I had heard that Phi Phi is beautiful and we plan to at least visit on a day trip, but I was hoping for other suggestions that I wasn't aware of. Paradise on Koh Yao seems to fit the bill perfectly.
