Thailand in Cambridge

As part of my ongoing community service obligation incurred as a result of a youthful indicretion, Beth and I had dinner with Bob and Karen at Similans. This place is great. The food was superb. Three Taste Shrimp, Chicken Rad Na with crispy noodles, Shrimp Scampi, Macademia Beef and a wonderful assortment of appetizers. We were also served a very nice Avaocado drink. This elicited a funny Avocado story from his RhkKmkness.

We did a little light planning of the upcoming GTG, talked about the infamous Pasadena GTG and slightly organized our joint trip to Bali in May 2008.Bob was relatively well-behaved. I think they finally got his meds adjusted properly.

You guys are traveling together to Bali?? Will the island survive both of you at the same time?

We're hoping the ancient gods will keep Bob in check. I'm already at one with the universe, so I'm OK. Beth and Karen are hoping for a volcanic incident.

Should I make a quick trip to Bali BEFORE you guys get there? I want to see Bali as it SHOULD be, not as it is left in tatters... I'm sure dear Bob will be his kind usual self.

Bob has been there. A marked decrease in tourism was noted. I'm hoping to offset.
