Sorry I meant 10, 11, 12 in plan 2 as Phuket for the wedding and not Krabi.

The Similans marine national park will be closed and the sea will be rough. A lot of beaches in Phuket will be red flagged because of dangerous conditions as well.

For August I would not count on much water sport unless the type of sport you play in a swimming pool.

As Hanuman has advised, Similans will be closed to visitors that time of year

There is no train to krabi, you would have to take the train as far as Surat Thani and then then either get a bus from Surat Thani or arrange a car service ( perhaps from krabi ) to collect you, then it would be about 3+ hrs depending where in the Krabi area you are staying, bus would be longer.

As you have to be in Phuket for the wedding you have to stick with that and hope for ok weather, but is is the rainy season.
I don't think you have enough time to go to Koh Samui area where the weather is much better, yes, you can fly from Phuket in 50 minutes to Koh Samui but it would be a lot of moving around for a couple of days.
