As mentioned above, orgy, Thai food is different from Chinese food in ingredients and spicing. Street food is different from food in good restaurants everywhere. Think of the differnce between McDonalds (or any fast food outlet) and a good restaurant in the US.

im not sure if comparing burger chains too fine food in US is all that correct espeicaly in the US where we don't exactly have a national dish.. yet we do have some nice reginal dishes.. for me it's lobster and potatoes from new england..

maybe ccomaring CHESTERS GRILL a thai faxt food chain and fine thati food would be more proper...

my point is that stall food and small local restaurants tends too offer more authentic reginal cooking.. and the fine restarants tend too have dishes for western tastes.

I just checked out a menue of a royal thai resteraunt and I think I may dine out tonight.. the dishes seem real nice .. maybe I'm gettin a bit sick of eating every other part of chicken. and hhaving my tongue slitely singed..

...i'm actually kind of intersted in knowing where royal thai food originated from but my internet allocated baht have run out....
