Thai Army Delcares Martial Law

Just seen news reports that the Thai army have declared martial law in the country.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/...A4I0VV20140520

A sad day for Thailand. Let's hope the situation can be resolved quickly and without further bloodshed.

Not that sad and long overdue. They should never have let Suthep run these rallies for so long. He should have been arrested long ago for inciting violence.

If Yingluck has done something illegal then arrest her.

The chaotic system they have allowed is a farce and letting Suthep ruin the election was a disgrace.

Do some reading on Suthep and you will find he is not the good guy his supporters make out.

I'm saddened by the political chaos going on in Thailand, one of my favorite places. I do hope they can get things settled peacefully.

Nothing ever gets resolved. It just quietens down for a few years before firing up again. Thats how it is in Thailand. Its a very corrupt country.
