I would never recommend any particular tailor, most of the work is done in back street places. My only suggestion would be to stick with the main ones, Mike's Tailors are about the most famous in Hua Hin, they have several locations, one on the main street near the temple. Always tell them you are leaving earlier than you really are so you can put the suit or whatever to a good 'test' just in case, then any problems you have time to sort, bargain well.

Thanks for the advice. I have the most amount of time in Hua Hin and i figured it would be cheaper. You think thats true compared to Bangkok? What about finding a tailor in Chang Mai? also, what did you mean "back street place"

I don't know what the prices are compared to bangkok but overall I would guess it might be cheaper, they all post boards outside with what to me on a quick glance seem pretty cheap deals. By back street I just meant that the tailor shops are the front for sales, the actual work goes on far away in small shop houses. Mike's Tailors have been around there a long time so I guess they must be OK.
