We are going to be in Phuket 2 weeks from now. We definitely want to do a snorkelling day trip, probably to Phi Phi area. There are tours we can book online from home but is it better to just book locally when we get there? Is it same/different tours? Is it same/different price? Is there risk of them being full?

I would wait and book when you're there. Not high season right now and you're only snorkeling and not diving.

Thanks Hanuman. Would you say the same for kayaking tours from Phuket as well? And what about Countryside day trips in Chiang Mai? Know anything about them?

Book anyhting you want to do once you get there. It will be less expensive and you can make decisions depending on the weather, etc.
