Small Tour Rajasthan or Kerala in January

I have been on Back Roads Tours before and like the size (12 people plus two tour guides) and the quality of the accomodations. I don't want to do another tour though that involves lots of hiking or biking. I'm looking for something of that size and quality for Rajasthan or Kerala in January/Feb. I don't know where to look. Any ideas?

January / Feb is good time to be both in Rajasthan & Kerala. The sight seeing is totally different in theme & content. Depending upon the time you have, the best of both regions could also be visited.
You could go in for an independant tour as you do have complete control over the itinerary & can also change it to suit your particular predilection. As for the quality there are several operators recommended on the forum. All you need to do is go back a wee bit.
Happy Travels!

If youre looking at booking a seat on a pre-packaged tour, you ned to look at US based tour operators. See the US Tour Operator Association website which has a search by destination option - http://www.ustoa.com/index.cfm

However if youre looking getting a tour operator to put together a custom package for you travelling on your own, then it would be best to work tour operators based in India. For Rajasthan you use the query option of the Rajasthan Association of Tour Operator website - www.ratorajasthan.org

Missed Kerala. For Kerala you can post your query on www.keralatourism.org in the travellers forum.

We absolutely loved Southern India and the whole Kerala area. One thing you may want to check out in addition to the Kerala back waters is on the edge of the state of Kerala. There is a resort on the edge of a game reserve that is in the middle of a coffee plantation called "Tranquil". I believe the website is tranquilresort.com. The property is incredible and the service is even better. You can stay in a room, a suite or a treehouse!! The managers of the propoery - Victor and Gini - are just incredible. Check it out!!

The houseboats tours in Kerala are also a once in a lifetime experience!!

Hi,
Peace be at your home and in life too.
You can just google about India travel and you will see many India based tour companies to organise your travel.
Company based in your country can be expensive.
Wish you all the best.
Raju India.
