Please give me some information for transportation from Airport to Gaylang, Lavender area.
I'll arrive Singapore at 23:25 TZ301 from Thailand.
I'm not sure train is still operate that late.
I have hear that there is $9 shuttle bus to city but is that operating that late?
Please give me some information for that
Thank you so much for your help

Geylang is on the airport side of town, a taxi will not be at all expensive.

By the time you get into the taxi it will be after midnight so prepare for 50% added surcharge and airport surcharge. If it is a weekend you may be able to catch the MRT as it operates later into the night. But at that time, catch a cab. It will not break the bank.

I'd take a cab. It won't be that much, and you will be a lot more comfortable than trying to get there on your own after a long flight and after midnight.

Thank you for your information! Wow, 50% add surcharge for taxi! I may better ask hotel to organize transport. Do you know how much cost from Airport to Geylang by taxi?

Yup, even with the 50% surcharge, taxi will be cheaper.

I find this site to be pretty accurate:

http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.p...nder+Singapore

Looks like about $36 Singapore (+/- US$28), Changi to Lavender after midnight including $5 Airport surcharge. There are plenty of signs to the taxi line in the airport.

Hotel transport is often higher, but you might check.

While in S'pore, remember that calling for a taxi costs more than catching one on the street.

Thanks all!
I just came back from Singapore. My flight was delay and arrived in Singapore around 3am!! I just found Airport shuttle desk front of me. It's 24hrs operation so I took an Airport shuttle. This is going to direct to our Hotel only. It's SG$9! It's cheaper than taxi. Nobody use airport shuttle that time so it was only me for shuttle bus. Local people were taking a taxi but it was long queue.
I went to Airport from Geylang area by taxi because I've got a cold so I didn't want to take a train to go to airport. It's cost around SG$17. It was around 6pm
