Singapore Airport Hotel
Hello,
We have a 1am flight out of Changi, but it is from terminal 4. All the airport hotels seem to be at the other terminals. Where would be the best place to stay would be easy to get to T4 from? Is there any security check between the terminals.
Thanks,
Carl

Good question.
We've stayed at the Ambassador Transit Hotel at Changi many times. It's located in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, but we've also stayed there when arriving/departing from Terminal 1, by using the Sky Train. There is no need to clear security as the hotels are air side.
However, we've not done this from Terminal 4, which I see is connected to the other terminals via shuttle bus (details further down):
What terminal are you arriving into? If it were me, I'd stay in the hotel in the terminal I arrive into, and then make the transfer to the departing terminal after checking out of the hotel. You'll need your onward boarding pass. You will either have to check your luggage through, or use the transfer desk within the airport to ensure your luggage is transferred. You won't have access to your luggage, so will need to pack accordingly.

Travelling to Terminal 4
From Terminal 2 to Terminal 4
Please proceed to the shuttle bus pick-up point at Terminal 2 Arrival Hall Door 1. The drop-off point at Terminal 4 is at the Departure Hall between Door 3 and 4.
The shuttle bus journey from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 takes about 10 minutes, and the shuttle bus leaves every 10 minutes from 5:30 AM to 12:00 AM, and every 20 minutes from 12:00 AM to 5.30 AM.
From Terminal 1 or 3 to Terminal 4
If you are transferring from Terminal 1 and 3 to Terminal 4, you need to first make a connection to Terminal 2 via the Skytrain, before taking the shuttle bus to Terminal 4.
Note: If you are transferring to Terminal 4 within the transit area, you must ensure that you have a valid onward boarding pass.
