I stayed at Jin Jiang YMCA Hotel last time. It's only US$54 per room. It's a real hotel, not dorm (although they also offer dormitory room for much cheaper). It offers basic accomodation with great view of Shanghai Museum.<BR><BR>Regarding location, it's only 5-10 minutes walk from Peoples Square and Shanghai Museum.
