You can get some real bargains with Scoot. I’ve used them numerous times Gold Coast to Singapore or further. They’re a budget airline, you pay for add ons like baggage (limits for carry on usually enforced), food, transfer, paying with cc etc. The food is ordinary, and bringing your own food is prohibited. In my experience they have been mostly on time. The planes on long haul flights are Dreamliners and quite comfy. You can sometimes upgrade on board.
