Oh no, I'm sorry! It's not bothersome! I'm sorry if it came off that way.

Yes the Ryokan Collection has been MUCH more helpful than the Japanese Guest Houses. I appreciate the suggestion because I was a bit intimidated by them before.

I'm just so sad that I got my heart set on Hakone Ginyu and it looks like it's not gonna happen because of the availability. I am just trying to find other places to get excited about too.

Hi All. I am looking for the Most Luxury Ryokanin in Hakone & Atami &Ise or Toba(Mie prefecture) Big Room size(over 85m~150 m) Private open air bath,Special suites,small
establishment(Rooms up to 15max) ,gorgeous Ocean View or lake view,or Mountain or River.price is not object(Hakone kaman is too commercial for me) all 3 nights each for total of two weeks)6 of us traveling-every year, we went to Kyushu this April Start with Hiiragiya(Kyoto) stayed Hanzuiryo,Takefue,Ishiharaso,all are fabulous 5 star Ryokans,would like to Match like this.we had absolutely fabulous time.please give me the best Ryokan these areas.

I posted few minutes earlier-few mistakes Hakone kaman is meant Gora kadan Ryokan is too commercial for me.

kmkuro, you would get more responses if you start your own thread rather than posting on this 5 year old thread. Click on the orange post a new thread button and give your post a specific name like looking for luxury ryokan.

Gora and Miyanoshita imho are the best locals in Hakone. Also the Moto-Hakone and Hakone-machi areas are very scenic. Hakone-Yumoto thru Odawara are very industrial and not my idea of scenic but there are still lots of good ryokan there too.
