Romantic trip to Bali for 2
Hi, I am looking to travel to Bali with my husband in June 2024 for 7-9 days.
We are looking to do both adventure and relaxing beach time.
We are big fans of All Inclusive stays, and are looking at Club Med AI in Nusa Dua.
Is it possible to have Club Med be our homebase, and still be able to do a few day trips to explore rice fields/ temples/ waterfalls etc?
Or should be break up our trip and stay in Ubud first, for a couple of days to do all of the exploring?
Things we would love to see/do:
Besakih
Holy Spring of Tirta Empul
Mengwi Temple, Monkey Forest and Tanah Lot Temple
Uluwatu Temple
Gitgit Waterfall
Bali Swing
If you have any all inclusive hotel reco's in Ubud, please let me know.
Also, any traveler agents reco's that can help me plan this trip, would be amazing.
I am hoping to have someone book flights/hotels/tours all in one place.

Hi,
I think staying in Nusa Dua for the whole duration will be a bit boring (sorry to say) and you will be on the road longer if you base your stay in Nusa Dua. I think it's a good idea to split your stay between Nusa Dua and Ubud. My advice is to stay in Nusa Dua first, and then head to Ubud on your 4th day as going to Ubud directly from the airport is quite far (unless you don't mind staying in the car for about 2 hours) as the distance wise, Nusa Dua is closer to the airport than Ubud. Because most of the things you want to see are also closer to reach from Ubud than from Nusa Dua.
You can check OnBali website for some recommendations about hotels in Ubud, as I believe you will find some nice recommendations there. Good luck!
